Last week i went everyday,now i am not gonna say it was my best performances but it was great to actually be able to get wet everyday. I had two great days: Monday: caught a bunch of lefts and actually felt really comfortable on the waves for being out of the water for so long. And Thursday was a random just go out cause i have gone out everyday and see what i can find. Well I went to El Porto rosecrans to be exact and it was very kind to me. I had a blast lots of waves and not many people out.
Lessons learned:
1. Just go surf, even when the conditions say they are not the best if there is any type of swell in the water there will be waves and also because of our location we are not always gonna get the best conditions and the more i surf the better i am gonna get.
2. My board is on its last leg :(. Time for a new board and i am thinking of getting: The Robber.
3. Take off a little late and stick to trying to make sections, i am not always gonna get a perfect corner and the more drops i make the more i will improve and making sections and over all goal (long time away) getting AIR !!!!
Started today out surfing good as well. Went back to el porto 45th and caught tons of waves. My only complaint were my airs were dead, i thing all the surfing and volleyball i played this week and weekend finally caught up with me. Totally worth it!!!

I'm Back Blogging
I know I know I say this from time and time again but this time its for real. I have lots to say and need to write it down more. I am thinking about lots of things and its time to get these things that are inside my head and on to this blog. Starting soon i will be creating more and more blog posts everything from : Surfing... i need to write about my experiences( and small adventures), also for all you surfers... comments and surf tips and locations are always recommended, ill be giving my own as well.
Workout Documenting my workout is fun and also gets me thinking of other things to do and get advice from all of you out there as well.
Last but not last at all Programming i like it and its time to start blogging about the new and cool things i have been doing at work and on the side.

Back in the gym and taking supplements
A lot of people ask me which supplements I take. So i thought i would get back in and review these supplements:
Pre work out drink : Gaspari Nutrition SuperPump 250
Pros: By far the best pre-workout drink on the market and i have tried a lot. I am not sure what it is but it keeps me energetic and motivated at the gym. I have some very very good work outs when i on this stuff and compared to the others this is by far the best for me. Reviews: 4 out of 5 stars.
Cons: kinda dependent on it. I like it so much before i go to the gym when i dont have it i feel as if i am not getting a good work out. Even though i do.
Post workout shake: All The Whey Whey Protein Isolate
Fat-Free Whey Protein Isolate
Pros: I took it this morning I added it to my smoothie and it hasnt given me gas. That is the biggest selling point with me and protien. The flavor is ok i mean its not bad and its not outstanding, but i will defenatly keep taking it.
Cons: The flavor is not very strong, i will probably mix it with fruit or banana from now on but other than that i so far really like this product.

New Workout 5×5 strength Training Program
5×5 strength Training Program
Dont let the name fool you. I am not trying to get stronger i am just trying to change up my regular routine of working out.
This is a great workout. If you haven't heard about it, it consist of 5 exercises 5 sets and 5 reps. Its a full body work out and it is to be done 3 days a week. I of course cant just do 5 exercises my mind and body wont allow that so i do 9. My friend at PricePlow.com recommended the work out and i am going to stick to it. I started out light on Tuesday but today is Thursday and i feel pretty good so i will probably move up the weight. Here is the work out: (i am not putting wight in here cause i forgot what i did for each exercise...Sorry for partying BRAH!!!!)
I do this entire work out in a circuit motion. Which means start with first exersise and work your way threw all the workouts and then start over from the top. Do that 5 times. I am sweating by the time i am done...Like i said good work out.
Sit-ups (30)
bench dumbbells
squats
wide pull ups
upright rows - back
dead-lifts - low weight
tris
bis
close grip pull ups
Sit-ups (30) on decline machine weighted
Ill keep you posted as i continue this workout. Let me know if you have any ideas to modify or even just add to this one. It takes about 1 hour to complete.

I have been working with a relative on his new product he created so i wanted to show it some love; It really is a great product and i will be doing my part to get the word out about it.

Cavs Fever...Its Great!!!!
So i am back in my home town this week of Cleveland Ohio. Well at least so far the weather has followed me we have had two really nice days. Ok lets talk about MVP Lebron James!!!!
Watching my first game in cleveland was exactly like i expected. Organizing where we went to watch the game on HD TVs which is a must for a playoff game. So we went to Cleats on mentor ave...I know I know horrible name for a bar dont get me started.
Anyways it was just fun being in a bar and hearing all the cheers for the cleveland fans. As the game progressed and the cavs just looked unstoppable it was fun to do shots with friends and every cheer was to the "Cavs". Actually also did a shot for Lebron James, it was mind eraser i think he would have liked that. The cavs won and the bar was packed until way into the night. Everyone there had there jersys on and supporting the cavs, it wa a great place to be and i cant wait to watch them again on thursday...What am i saying i am going on thursday!!!!!

My friend Scot brought up a great point yesterday, i was explaing to him that its just not the same watching games in LA, the fans just dont seem to care. He said point blank "They are used to Winning".
They are used to winning...Humm let me ponder that for a sec, we have not won anything, until now. At the pace we are going we are going to breeze threw to the finals, then we will see if cleveland sports fans are used to winning!!! We may not be used to it but as a fan base we sure do care about our teams in good times and in bad. Sitting there and talking about all the times we had watching close games or even just going to a cavs game, i think the cavs are going to be a real legacy and us as cleveland fans can finally be "Used to winning"!!!

Cavs playoff tickets getting them is a joke!!!

Cavs Playoff Game D Tickets On Sale Wednesday, April 29th at 12PM!
Starting Wednesday, April 29th at 12PM/Noon EST, Cavaliers Insiders have the opportunity to purchase up to four (4) individual game tickets for Cavaliers' home Game D* of the 2009 NBA Playoffs. *Game 2 of Round 2. | Date and Opponent TBD.
I was a excited California kid to hear that my friend jay sent me a email regarding getting cavs tickets. I actually thought i would be able to get a pair cause it seemed legit and i logged on at exactly 9:00am my time which is noon eastern. Well since ticket master is a huge scam and the website they have set up for this is a big joke i was unable to get tickets. But don't worry cause they put this disclaimer on the bottom to make up for it:
Tickets are available a first come, first served basis. There is no guarantee at the time you search for tickets that your requested ticket quantity and price category will be available.
Here is my take on all of this getting tickets for playoff games...Why is it so difficult i am sorry, why cant we come up with a better system then this. Log on at noon and enter in 2 different codes and by the time you enter those codes in, the website says sorry there are no tickets available...How is it 12:00:30 secs and no tickets are available. Wait sorry the bottom line says tickets are still available just go back and start the process over, cause the tickets that are being viewed by other people may become available shortly. confused yet.. Yea being a web developer and understanding a better system and seeing a better system i am on to this crap. Its all about the dollar bill yall!!!
First off the best way this all works on the web is the way the Chicago cubs do there tickets when they come on sale. There are different options you can call, go to Wrigley or log into a website. The cubs tickets online is a bit annoying basically because you think that it is lying to you when it say please wait in this virtual waiting room. But if you seriously wait long enough you actually get in and are able to get tickets. Now this is for the Chicago cubs for a entire year.

I am talking about the Cleveland cavs playoffs. Put me in a waiting room don't make me log off and log back on and click refresh and not click refresh and have the password box appear and disappear. Yes that all happened, sorry i do not know how this is all even legit.
Here is what I think happens they have to say they are giving tickets to the public they probably put about 50 tickets out there and that's it. Then they have ticket brokers like stubhub and other ticket companies pay them more money and buy up the rest. Cause its kinda sad that before the tickets even went on sale tickets on stubhub were already there and ready to be sold. How is that possipble if the tickets never went on sale yet. There are not that many cavs season tickets holders, i have been to games and seen many empty seats trust me. Anyways that is me venting for the day, but i for sure will be at the game next week probably getting tickets on stubhub and paying the 30 dollar fee and over priced ticets. TOTALLY WORTH IT....GO CAVS!!!

Time to start sufing so what exersises I should you do?
Its about that time in the year when surfing get really really fun. Why you ask well cause the air and the water gets warmer and the days get longer. I am going to try and go as much as I can before i leave for my trip. Yep my trip usually when a surfer says that it usually means he is going to some exotic place to surf some gnarly waves...Well not me i am heading back to Cleveland to probably not even see a beach and for sure not getting in the water. Its ok it will be fun and just get me more excited to come back and shred when i get back.
I am going to concentrate my blog posts on fitness and surfing related. So today i am going to answer a question that come to my mind and i bet a lot of other surfers mind.
What is the best exercise for surfing???
There are more then one exercise to help with this but the main thing surfers do is paddle. So what you want to do is get your arm strength up. Two simple exercise for that are push ups and pull ups. Now why do you think i choose those to? Well your arm strength is very important for surfing and the biggest thing you need to do is paddle yourself on a surf board, so pull ups really help with getting your arms ready to paddle your own body weight for a long period of time. Push ups is just a over all great exercise, but for surfing it is especially important cause when you are about to catch a wave what you need to do is PUSH your self up. This sounds so much easier than it is. Remember when you start surfing it looks a lot easier then it is so if you can train your muscles to push your self up, then when you are out on the ocean the last thing you need to worry about is pushing up to your feet. Your arms will be ready for that exercise and the last thing you will need to concentrate on is catching the wave and making sure your feet are set.
There are many more exercises you can do this is just a couple you can do at home at work or anywhere. I will touch on this subject again.
